Fashion and Design Conference
This event is for members in grades 6-12.
Please send your registration information to Lynnsey Fox at lynnseyfox@utk.edu. The Knox County registration and payment deadline is WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25TH BY 5PM NO EXCEPTIONS.
Elizabeth Renfro and Amelia Sturgill are serving as chair and co-chair, respectively, and have prepared an exciting 4 days for 4-H’ers who enjoy sewing, designing, service projects and all things fashion related. This year’s conference will include a trip to the Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner show as well as Tanger Outlets! Participants will also have an opportunity to show off their fashion sense in the Regional Fashion Show which will qualify winners to participate in the State 4-H Fashion Show being held at the Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair!
Conference cost of $250 will be due at the time of registration.
Registration will be available for 3 campers per county only. After April 1, 2026 at 4:00pm ET, any remaining spots will be open on a first come first serve basis.
We will not be able to accommodate last minute reporting of food allergies/special dietary needs – we must know food allergies at the time of registration!

Target Smart
4-H Target Smart Camp is a program of Tennessee 4-H Shooting Sports. It is for youth who are enrolled in grades 5-9 on January 1 of the current calendar year. The camp is located at the Clyde York 4-H Center in Crossville, Tennessee, and will be held May 25-29, 2026. Youth learn appropriate skills to succeed in a variety of shooting sports and related areas such as archery, riflery, shotgun use, muzzleloading, and outdoor skills.

2026 Electric Camp
Electric Camp is a fun-filled, rewarding adventure in electricity held on the U.T. Campus. The camp features learning centers staffed by electric utility professionals. This camp is for youth grades 6-8th as of January 1 of the current calendar year.

Angler Camp
The 4-H Angler Adventure Camp organization committee is excited to announce the new camp in the Eastern Region: 4-H Angler Adventures! April 17-18 at Clyde Austin 4-H Center! Youth will get to spend the weekend fishing and learn about the different types of fishing styles, learn species, and more!
Please note, this event is limited to 50 youth within the Eastern Region, and it is open to grades 4th-8th.
Important information regarding fishing license prior to camp:
- Any camper 12 years old and under will not need a license
- Any camper 13 years old and up will need a junior fishing license and trout permit. The best option is for the camper to purchase a hunt/fish annual combo. This will ensure that a trout stamp is included at $11.
Registration will open on March 16th, and a link for payment will be posted at that time. *Payment is due at the time of registration. Your registration form must be sent to our office, even if you choose the online payment method. Your registration form should be sent, and payment made, no later than Friday, March 27th.
A 600A Form is also required to be filled out for this event. The link for the 600A form can be found at: https://knox.tennessee.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/202/2020/11/F600A-interactive.pdf . The 600A Form, as well as the registration form, can be emailed to lynnseyfox@utk.edu.
Destination Design
We are excited to announce the this year’s Destination Design for Senior High 4-Hers in grades 9th through 12th! The 2026 4-H Destination Design will travel to two locations this year: Asheville, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina! There will be experiential learning activities and tours all based around Interior Design and Architecture as well as more great educational activities to participate in during this adventure! Lodging for both destinations will be at a Hampton Inn and Suites.
Applications: All Senior High 4-H members are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to 4-H members who have: a) submitted a Level 1 or Level 2 portfolio in Clothing and Textiles or Line and Design, b) participated as finalists in the aforementioned project areas at 4-H Roundup and/or, c) attended Fashion and Design Conference in the last five (5) years. 2026 Eastern Region Destination Design Youth Application – Fill out form Applications are due April 20, 2026.
Please note, this event is limited to 15 participants (region-wide). Cost for the trip is $425 per participant and should be paid to the county office upon acceptance and registration. Checks should be made payable to 4-H Foundation, with both the participant’s name and Knox County Destination Design on the memo line.
2026 Culinary Camp
We are excited to announce the very first Eastern Region 4-H Culinary Camp will be held on June 16-18, 2026 at Carson Newman University with Lodging at Hampton Inn Morristown!
Meagen Brown and Lena GeFellers are serving as chair and co-chair, respectively, and have prepared an exciting 3 days for 4-H’ers who enjoy all things cooking! We have so many exciting things planned for this new camp with a lot of hands on cooking activities and a dinner show in Pigeon Forge!
Applications: All 6th-12th grade members are eligible to apply as spots are limited to 44 youth (region-wide). To apply for this opportunity, the online application linked below must be filled out no later than Wednesday April 15, 2026: 2026 Eastern Region 4-H Culinary Camp – Fill out form
Cost for the camp is $250 per participant and should be paid to the county office upon acceptance and registration. Checks should be made payable to 4-H Foundation, and on the memo line should be the participant’s name and Knox County Culinary Camp.
2026 Eastern Region 4-H Quilt Camp
What/Where: 4-H Quilt Camp “Stars & Stitches” will be held June 23 – 25 at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center Lodge in Greeneville, TN. The cost to attend camp is $250.

Participation and Registration:
- “Stars & Stitches” 4-H Quilt Camp, space is limited to only 20 participants. It is open to 6th – 12th graders who are experienced sewers who can use a sewing machine independently.
- Sewing an even 1/4″ seam allowance is a requirement
- All applications need to be postmarked by mail to Lendsey Russell at P.O. Box 186 Sneedville, TN 37869 or emailed to Lendsey Russell at lrusse34@utk.edu by Friday, April 10, 2026
- All camp fees should be paid in full two weeks prior to camp; therefore, refunds will not be issued unless in the event of an emergency. Each participating county will be invoiced sent by Jamia Long during the week of Quilt Camp.
- Once the registration forms have been received, quilt participants should receive an approval letter through their 4-H Agent by Monday May 4, 2026.
Adult Volunteer Leaders:

- Must be a level 3 adult leader with quilting experience
- Adult Volunteer Leaders will be selected by the Eastern Region Office; however, all applicants must be approved level 3 volunteers and documented as such in SUPER by the local county Extension Office prior to consideration
